Our TrackMan driving range does what a normal range cannot: it tells you the truth about every shot. Each covered bay is fitted with TrackMan radar, so the moment you strike a ball you see the ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry distance and club path behind it.

Is there a driving range near Nottingham open in the evening?
Yes. Our covered, floodlit range is open 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, about 12 miles and 20 minutes from Nottingham city centre.
Where is the driving range?
Ormonde Fields Golf Club, Nottingham Road, Codnor, Ripley DE5 9RL, roughly 20 minutes from Derby and a few minutes from Ripley, Heanor and Ilkeston, with free parking outside the bays.
Do I need to book a bay?
No. Walk in, choose an available bay and buy your balls at the dispenser. Or book a bay online ahead of time for unlimited balls during your session, and check in at reception. Bay bookings are available Monday to Friday, 3pm to 10pm, and need to be made at least 30 minutes before your session starts.
How much are range balls?
Baskets are £4.00 small, £7.50 medium, £10.00 large and £12.50 jumbo. The bigger the basket, the cheaper it works out per ball.
What are the opening hours?
Seven days a week, 7am to 10pm, and the covered, floodlit bays mean evening and winter practice carries on.
Do I need to be a member?
No. There is no membership and no minimum spend. Anyone can turn up and hit balls.
