Golf coaching at Evolution starts from one belief: when a swing change does not last, there is always a reason why. Many golfers leave lessons knowing exactly what they need to change, only to find themselves back in the same swing patterns a few weeks later.
Rather than jumping straight into changing your golf swing, our PGA Professionals first work out what is preventing lasting improvement. Trackman measures your impact data, ball flight and club path, video analysis shows your swing characteristics, and TPI movement principles reveal what your body can physically deliver. Sometimes the answer is technical, sometimes it is physical, and sometimes it is how you practise. Coaching covers the whole game too: one to one lessons, on course coaching for course management and scoring, and short game coaching for chipping, wedges and putting.
Coaching runs seven days a week at Ormonde Fields Golf Club in Codnor, near Ripley, around 20 minutes from Derby.

Golf is not only about the swing, so our coaching is not either. Four ways we work with golfers.
Every session includes TrackMan technology in our teaching studios to accurately measure your swing and impact, with video analysis alongside it.
Playing good golf is more than hitting good shots. Develop the decision making, course management and scoring skills that lower your scores.
Over half your shots are played on and around the green. We find where you are losing them and build a short game that saves them.
Your coach works alongside our Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning team, so a physical limitation never quietly stalls your progress.
By looking at the golfer as a whole rather than just the golf swing, we make better coaching decisions, tailored to you rather than to a swing model.

We talk through your game, measure your swing and impact data on Trackman, review your swing on video, then work on the change that will do most for your scores.
A single 60 minute lesson is £60. A block of five is £270, which works out at £54 a lesson.
Yes. Your swing recordings are sent to you after the session so you can review them at home between lessons.
