Movement and swing, together

Trackman Swing

Analysis

How your body moves is only half the story. Your screening is paired with a full Trackman and video swing analysis, so nothing is guessed at.

01
Trackman Swing Analysis

We analyse your golf swing using Trackman technology and video analysis to understand your swing characteristics and ball flight.

02
The Faults Holding You Back

We identify the faults preventing you from achieving your goals, rather than guessing at symptoms.

03
Technical or Physical?

Combining the movement screen with your swing analysis shows whether the priority is coaching, physical movement, or both.

04
A Personalised Pathway

You leave with a clear pathway to improve, built around what your body can actually deliver.

Coaching a swing without checking the body behind it is guesswork. Screen first, and the plan you walk out with is one your body can actually deliver.

MEET THE TEAM

Find The Right

Specialist

We believe the best results come from specialists working together. Your PGA Professional, Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach combine their expertise to build a complete understanding of your golf swing and how your body influences it. By working collaboratively, we can identify not only what is happening, but why it is happening, ensuring every recommendation is aligned to help you improve more effectively.

Head PGA Professional

Will Painter

PGA Professional Coaching

If your goal is to improve your golf swing and lower your scores, a PGA Professional is the best place to start. By combining the TPI Screen with an understanding of golf swing mechanics, we can identify how your physical movement may be influencing your technique, so swing changes work with your body and are easier to maintain.

How they can help
Improve your golf swings faults
Understand your golf swings characteristics, why you do, what you do.
Link your body to your golf swing, swing-body connection.
Improve scoring skills and how to shoot better scores
Create a personalised coaching plan with monthly support
Use Trackman data to understand impact and how to improve consistency

Head of Physiotherapy

Kash

Clinical Physiotherapy Specialist

If your goal is to understand why you feel pain, why injuries flare up, help with recovery or to improve the restrictions holding you back, physiotherapy is the best place to start. By combining clinical physiotherapy with golf coaching, you can begin to understand how and why your body is holding you back and receive the support you need to play pain free golf with less restrictions.

How they can help
Combine Physiotherapy with PGA Professional coaching for golf specific clinical treatment
Understand why injuries flare up
Improve restrictions holding back your golf
Play pain free golf
Support recovering from injuries and repetitive strain
Help you return to golf safely

Head of Strength & Conditioning

Luke

Head of Strength & Conditioning

If your goal is to improve your strength in movement so your real swing can become as good as your practice swing, strength and conditioning is the best place to start. By combining S&C with golf coaching, we can identify the movements you need to improve and the expertise to build an exercise programme and coaching to make swing changes not only possible but easier.

How they can help
Improve your strength in movement
Receive a golf specific exercise programme
Link physical movement to swing characteristics
Receive coaching to stay on track
Improve physical capabilities to reach your goals
Improve longevity and play for longer

OUR APPROACH

The Evolution Approach

Six things that stay the same, whichever part of the academy you use.

Understand the golfer first

Before anything changes, we take the time to understand your goals, your golf and how you actually want to spend your time here.

Measure, do not guess

Trackman technology and TPI movement principles mean every decision is based on what is really happening rather than an opinion.

Find the reason why

Technical, physical, or simply how you practise. There is always a reason changes are not sticking, and we identify it before we act.

Specialists who work together

Our PGA Professionals, physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coaches share what they find, so nothing gets missed between them.

A plan built around you

You leave with a clear, personalised plan built around your body, your goals and the time you realistically have to practise.

Progress you can see

We measure again as you go, so improvement is something you can point at rather than something you hope is happening.

The practice facilities here are second to none. I couldn’t of been more impressed, the grass range is an amazing touch and the track man bays are top notch as well, mats are perfect not worn, balls aren’t battered, great value for money, definitely my go to practice facility now.

I had a lesson with Will. He was attentive and planned an approach to how I could improve. After some practice the planned improvements paid off. Highly recommended.

Will gave me good advice and made adjustments to my swing. Huge improvement in just one lesson, best £50 I have ever spent.

golf questions and answers

TPI Screening in Derby FAQs

What is a TPI Movement Screen?

A physical movement assessment that identifies how your body may be influencing your golf swing, covering mobility, stability, balance and movement control.

How long does it take?

Around 45 minutes for the screen, plus time to talk through your results, your swing analysis and your plan.

Is my swing analysed too?

Yes. Your screening is paired with Trackman and video swing analysis, so we can see whether the priority is technical or physical.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. The screen simply shows where you are now, and your plan starts from there.

Who will I work with afterwards?

Whoever is best placed to help, whether that is our PGA Professional, physiotherapist, strength and conditioning coach, or a combination.

Will it help my distance?

Often yes. Clubhead speed usually comes from moving better rather than swinging harder.
