What is a TPI
Movement Screen?
A TPI Movement Screen is a physical movement assessment that identifies how your body may be influencing your golf swing. Many golfers spend years trying to improve their swing without realising their body is holding them back: without the mobility, stability or control to make a movement, no amount of practice will make that swing change stick.
We assess rotation, balance, mobility and movement control, then pair the screen with Trackman and video swing analysis so your physical results sit next to your actual swing characteristics, ball flight and impact data. That combination shows whether a swing fault is technical, physical or both, and whether the next step is coaching with a PGA Professional, physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, or a mix.
Screenings take around 45 minutes at Ormonde Fields Golf Club in Codnor, near Ripley, around 20 minutes from Derby, and you leave with a personalised plan your body can actually deliver.
Movement and swing, together
Trackman Swing
Analysis
How your body moves is only half the story. Your screening is paired with a full Trackman and video swing analysis, so nothing is guessed at.
We analyse your golf swing using Trackman technology and video analysis to understand your swing characteristics and ball flight.
We identify the faults preventing you from achieving your goals, rather than guessing at symptoms.
Combining the movement screen with your swing analysis shows whether the priority is coaching, physical movement, or both.
You leave with a clear pathway to improve, built around what your body can actually deliver.
Coaching a swing without checking the body behind it is guesswork. Screen first, and the plan you walk out with is one your body can actually deliver.
MEET THE TEAM
Find The Right
Specialist
We believe the best results come from specialists working together. Your PGA Professional, Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach combine their expertise to build a complete understanding of your golf swing and how your body influences it. By working collaboratively, we can identify not only what is happening, but why it is happening, ensuring every recommendation is aligned to help you improve more effectively.
Head PGA Professional
PGA Professional Coaching
If your goal is to improve your golf swing and lower your scores, a PGA Professional is the best place to start. By combining the TPI Screen with an understanding of golf swing mechanics, we can identify how your physical movement may be influencing your technique, so swing changes work with your body and are easier to maintain.
Head of Physiotherapy
Clinical Physiotherapy Specialist
If your goal is to understand why you feel pain, why injuries flare up, help with recovery or to improve the restrictions holding you back, physiotherapy is the best place to start. By combining clinical physiotherapy with golf coaching, you can begin to understand how and why your body is holding you back and receive the support you need to play pain free golf with less restrictions.
Head of Strength & Conditioning
Head of Strength & Conditioning
If your goal is to improve your strength in movement so your real swing can become as good as your practice swing, strength and conditioning is the best place to start. By combining S&C with golf coaching, we can identify the movements you need to improve and the expertise to build an exercise programme and coaching to make swing changes not only possible but easier.
OUR APPROACH
The Evolution Approach
Six things that stay the same, whichever part of the academy you use.
Before anything changes, we take the time to understand your goals, your golf and how you actually want to spend your time here.
Trackman technology and TPI movement principles mean every decision is based on what is really happening rather than an opinion.
Technical, physical, or simply how you practise. There is always a reason changes are not sticking, and we identify it before we act.
Our PGA Professionals, physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coaches share what they find, so nothing gets missed between them.
You leave with a clear, personalised plan built around your body, your goals and the time you realistically have to practise.
We measure again as you go, so improvement is something you can point at rather than something you hope is happening.

The practice facilities here are second to none. I couldn’t of been more impressed, the grass range is an amazing touch and the track man bays are top notch as well, mats are perfect not worn, balls aren’t battered, great value for money, definitely my go to practice facility now.

Great range, balls are in very good nick, Trackman too, plus a nice little chipping area.

Great place to start your golfing journey. The Trackman facilities are excellent.

I had a lesson with Will. He was attentive and planned an approach to how I could improve. After some practice the planned improvements paid off. Highly recommended.

Golf coaching with Will was a great experience. He helped progress my game using their Trackman technology and the driving range facilities to practice what I had been taught.

Will gave me good advice and made adjustments to my swing. Huge improvement in just one lesson, best £50 I have ever spent.
