A single one hour golf lesson with a PGA Professional at Evolution Golf Academy is £55, with TrackMan data and video analysis included. A block of five is £270, and the Monthly Coaching Programme is £60 a month. Our prices are on this page so you can decide before you book.
Quick answer: £55 for one 60 minute lesson, £270 for five lessons (£54 each), or £60 a month on the Monthly Coaching Programme. A TPI Movement Screen is £75.
Here is every option side by side, so you can see what you get for the money.
| Option | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Single lesson | £55 | 60 minutes, one to one with a PGA Professional, TrackMan data and video analysis included. |
| Block of five | £270 | Five lessons, which works out at £54 each. |
| Monthly Coaching Programme | £60 a month | A structured plan built around your goals, with video support between sessions. |
| TPI Movement Screen | £75 | A check of how your body moves, paired with TrackMan and video swing analysis. |
A single lesson is £55, a block of five is £270
One hour, one to one with a PGA Professional, in a private teaching bay. TrackMan data and video analysis are included, and your swing videos are sent to you after the lesson so you can review them at home.
A single lesson suits a few situations well. You might want a check up before a golf trip, a second opinion on one problem such as a slice, or a first taste of coaching before you decide on more. Beginners are welcome, and clubs are provided for beginner lessons.
A block is five lessons for £270, which works out at £54 a lesson. It is a small saving, but the bigger gain is the way you learn. Most golfers improve fastest on a block, because each lesson builds on the one before instead of starting again.
The coach can set you something to work on, see how it went at the next lesson, and then move on to the next piece. It also gives you a clear plan with a start and an end, which many people find easier to commit to than open ended coaching.
Neither option has hidden extras. The price covers the coach, the TrackMan data, the video analysis and your videos afterwards. If you are weighing up where to learn, you may also like our guide to what to compare when choosing golf lessons in Derby or Nottingham.
The Monthly Coaching Programme: £60 a month
A structured plan built around your goals, with OnForm video support between sessions, and lesson range balls included. There are no long tie-ins: it runs monthly. It suits golfers who want regular guidance and someone to check in with between sessions, rather than a one off fix. You can read more about the Monthly Coaching Programme.
TPI movement screening: £75 a session
If a swing change never seems to stick, a TPI screen checks whether your body is the reason. It looks at how you move, for example how freely your hips and shoulders turn, and then links that to what shows up in your swing. It is paired with TrackMan and video swing analysis, so the plan covers both swing and body.
Where it is needed, our fitness and physio team can support the plan, with one pathway led by the PGA Professional. See the TPI golf screening page for more.
What is included, and what is not
Included in every lesson: the hour with your coach, TrackMan data, video analysis and your swing videos sent after the lesson.
Not included: lesson balls are not included in a single lesson or a block. Monthly Programme members receive theirs as part of the programme. Range baskets are £4 for 30 balls, £7.50 for 60, £10 for 90 and £12.50 for 120, and you can walk in with no booking needed.
What affects how many lessons you need?
There is no single answer, because it depends on you. These are the main things that make a difference.
- Your starting point. A complete beginner has more to learn than someone who plays every week.
- Your goal. Hitting it a bit straighter takes less than rebuilding a swing.
- How often you practise. Time on the range between lessons makes each lesson count for more.
- Your body. Stiffness or old injuries can slow a change, which is where a movement screen helps.
- How long you have had the habit. A move you have repeated for years takes longer to change.
Many golfers start with a single lesson, then move to a block or the monthly programme once they can see where they are heading. Our guide on how many golf lessons you need goes into this in more detail.
What to ask any golf coach before you book
Whether you choose us or someone else, these questions help you compare like with like.
- Is the coach a qualified PGA Professional?
- How long is the lesson, and what is the price for that time?
- Is launch monitor data and video analysis included, or an extra?
- Are balls included, and what do they cost?
- Is there a saving on a block, and is there a monthly option?
- Do you get your videos or notes to take home?
- Can they look at how your body moves as well as your swing?
Prices only mean something when you know what is in them, so ask before you book. A cheaper lesson that leaves out the data and the video can end up costing you more in the long run, because you have less to work from afterwards.
